This Privacy Policy has to be read in conjunction with the Terms and Conditions of SCANPATCH.IN. This Privacy Policy explains how personal information obtained by INDIGO BUSINESS SOLUTIONS from customers is utilised. Information Collection, Use, and Sharing:

Types of Information collected by us from you:

  • Personal Information – This is information that is directly associated with you. This includes your Name, Address, Telephone number, E-mail address, Date of birth, Medical data, etc.
  • Credit and Financial Information – We may collect information about your credit card or banking information for payment processing, management and billing and collection purposes for the purchase of our products and services.
  • Information of your Contact persons – This information is information that you will provide of persons that will be contacted in cases of emergency. This information will include the E-mail address, Telephone number, etc of the person to be contacted.
  • Location Data – We may collect data on the location of your product whenever it is scanned (subject to coverage limitations)
  • Collection of data of young persons – Our products and services can be used by young persons under the age of 18, only under the supervision and agreement of their Parent or Legal Guardian. We do not intentionally or knowingly collect Personal Information of anyone under the age of 18 unless with the agreement of a Parent/Legal Guardian. We require all Young persons under the age of 18 years at the time of registration of our products to get parental/legal guardian approval before using the products.

How we collect your data:

  • Registration: In order to use our products and the services associated with it, a user must first complete the Member Registration Form. During registration a user is required to give certain information (such as name, address, telephone and E-mail address). This information is used to contact you and at your discretion to give access of this information to others in cases of emergency. When creating an online user account, you may also provide User identification information such as a Login password that shall be used for future sign-in into your account. At your discretion, there are several options wherein you can also provide demographic information such as your gender and age as well as personal medical history and conditions about yourself. You may also upload your identity and other personal documents which may be shared with others in cases of emergency. On scanning of your product the geo-location of the product can also be provided to others at your discretion. All information given at the time of registration can be restricted for use at your discretion.
  • Orders: We request information from you on our Order Form. To buy from us, you must provide basic contact information like name and shipping address which must be a residential/commercial address and not a P.O. Box. Similarly basic financial information like credit/debit card number, expiration date, etc. This information is used for billing purposes and to fulfil your orders. If we have trouble processing an order, we'll use this information to contact you. All your details provided at the time of your order will be shared with the third party financial company and shipping company to fulfil your order. When you interact with our customer service personnel over the telephone or E-mail we may monitor or record phone calls, E-mails or live chats for quality control.
  • Cookies / Web beacons / Other tracking technology: We use 'cookies' on this site. A cookie is a piece of data stored on a site visitor's hard drive, to help us improve your access to and identify repeat visitors to our site. Sharing:

We share aggregated demographic information with our partners and advertisers. However, when you are the primary account holder, but you receive special or discounted pricing, terms or other benefits through another party’s agreement with us (eg: distributors loyalty sales schemes), we may provide enough information to that party to verify your initial and continuing eligibility for benefits under their agreement with us and to calculate any associated discounts or benefits.

We also use an outside/external shipping company to ship orders; as well as a credit card processing company to bill customers for our products and services. These companies do not retain, share or use your personal information for any other purpose beyond fulfilling your order.

In providing products and services to you, we may entrust some of your personal information to third party business operators outside of India, including business entrusted companies and data sharing partners. We shall take all necessary and appropriate measures in safeguarding all your personal data in keeping with all laws and regulations.

    In an emergency situation, your Personal details and that of your emergency contact persons may be uploaded and stored on the devices of third-parties on scanning of your product. This uploaded data shall be deemed to be outside the scope of this privacy policy and shall not be under the responsibility of Indigo Business Solutions and its Partners. Any such uploaded data shall be your personal responsibility and shall be deleted from the devices of the third-parties at your discretion.
  • Indigo Business Solutions and its Partners are not responsible for any third-party applications, for example, phone applications, programs, widgets, etc. you select and install on your device. When you install third-party applications, you may give your consent for the third-party to access information stored on the device and on our network to facilitate the application’s functions (for example, you may consent to third-party access to your location information). The manner in which such third-parties may use, share, or disclose such information is governed by the Terms and Conditions and privacy policy provided by that third-party – not by this policy.
